Dimension Management gives you the ability to effortlessly edit, manage, and organize all dimensions synced from your accounting integration or created directly in Teampay, including class, location, department, category, and any additional custom dimensions.
Where is it?
To begin, you’ll want to navigate to your Teampay.co Dashboard:
- Select your avatar on the top right-hand corner
- Click on ‘Organization Settings’
- Under the Accounting section, select ‘Configure’ for Dimension Management
Managing your Dimensions
Review the dimensions that are currently available to your organization and the settings associated with each. Here you can:
- Select whether a dimension should be accessible to your organization by toggling to enable or disable it.
- Select whether a dimension is required or optional, as well as if they’d do it per request or per a (successful) transaction.
- Configure the criteria related to that dimension by clicking on the Settings icon.
Editing a Dimension
Once you’ve clicked on the Settings icon, you can begin to configure that dimension based on the needs of your organization.
If the dimension has been synced from your accounting integration and is not a custom dimension, you can:
- Select whether a dimension’s criteria should be accessible to your organization by toggling to enable or disable it.
- Give a dimension’s criteria an alternate name by creating an alias.
If the dimension has been created in Teampay, you can:
- Create new criteria for that dimension by clicking on Add [Dimension] in the upper right corner.
- Select whether a dimension’s criteria should be accessible to your organization by toggling to enable or disable it.
You can enable and disable your accounts from showing by toggling the bar to the right.
Adding a Custom Dimension
You can add/sync custom dimensions under the ‘Custom Dimension’ section on Accounting settings.

- Next, you’ll want to fill out the requirements.
You can also manage the Customer Dimensions that you have synced from your ERP.
- You can disable them by selecting the toggle
icon.
- Additionally, you can update the categories within the custom dimension by selecting the
. Once you tap the setting icon. Once you select the configure icon you’ll have the ability to disable and enable your custom dimension accounts:
*note - dimensions created in Teampay do not sync to the ERP. If you want the custom dimension to appear in Teampay, and sync to your ERP, the custom dimension needs to be created in your ERP.
